Discipleship groups meet in multiple locations, studying the word, praying, fellowshipping, eating, introducing others to Christ and helping them to grow and connecting them to church for further knowledge, as was the Apostles’ doctrine (Acts 2:42).

Jesus said “My house shall be called a house of prayer” (Matthew 21 v 13).

Prayer  is one of our core values and it has the highest priority in our fellowship, as it is the means through which God does His great work in and through us.

To develop individual and corporate times of prayer. 

We have prayer meetings every day of the week. There are regular seasons of prayer and fasting throughout the year, where we seek the Lord individually and corporately, asking Him to build His church and pour out His Spirit as He said He would (Mathew 16 v 18,  Acts 2 v 16 – 18).

We at NLCCI continue to P.U.S.H. – Pray Until Something Happens. Our weekly prayer meeting is on Thursday and it is a day designated for the whole church.

Times of corporate Prayer:

  • Weekly Prayer - Thursday from 7.30 pm
  • Online Prayer mornings - Monday, Wednesday and Friday:11:00 am - 12 pm
  • Online Prayer evenings - Monday - Wednesday: 10:00 pm - 11:00 pm on Fridays 10:00 pm - 12:00 am

Our pastoral care ministry offers spiritual, emotional, and practical support provided by our pastoral care team, to individuals and our community. Rooted in the example of Jesus as the "Good Shepherd," it involves guiding, comforting, nurturing, and helping believers grow in faith and supporting them in life's challenges. This care may include prayer, counselling, visitation and encouragement to bring about a holistic well-being and deepening of one's relationship with God.
