Faye Simpson serves as the Director of a thriving Worship Dept at NLCCI.

Her passion concerning NLCCI is to see gifts and talents birthed, restored, renewed, revived and to see members of NLCCI equipped and ready for service with excellence.

She is currently running workshops titled ‘Safe Space’ - offering vocal training, developing musicians and equipping the next generation for Church Services and Worship Leadership.

Pastor Dennise Christensen committed to hold the group together, and bring teaching, friendship, and a sense community. In this time the group has grown in size, but more importantly in God’s Word and Faith, whilst encountering a personal God who created each one of these amazing young adults for purpose!

The group meet every 3 weeks to unpick God’s word and find its relevance in their daily life. The vision is to equip this generation to unashamedly share the gospel of Jesus Christ with their peer group; at home, college/university, and workplace, and to bring in the Harvest…!

Catherine Ofori-Atta leads Women of Destiny

The purpose of this ministry is to:


• Restore the lost or forgotten truths of womanhood and 

• Enable women to have a sound understanding of their nature, potential, role and contribution in God's Kingdom.

Women will be:


1. Taught the Word of God

2. Instructed on application of the Word of God and

3. Encouraged and supported to walk in the Word of God, 

In so doing, women will be able to learn to purposefully live out their Christian life through the direction of the Word of God by way of the leading and inspiration of the Holy Spirit.

The Ushers Ministry provides assistance, from welcoming guests and members to the church to helping the parents with their child/children. Ushers are your first and most important contact with the church, giving a sense of community among those who gather for worship.

Ushers act as gatekeepers of the church, we recognize the responsibility and privilege of being the first point of contact for all who enter the house of the Lord.

With the help of the Holy Spirit, my team and I will strive to:

• Ensure the safety and well-being of all worshippers at all times.
• Pray for and support our pastor in fulfilling his God-directed responsibilities.
• Help create a church community where everyone feels truly loved, accepted, and supported, just as Christ would
• Connect with each individual on a spiritual level, offering encouragement and care.
• Our Ushers team have all completed Fire Warden Training.

The Vision:

Is to see every person who comes through the doors of NLCCI greeted with love and warmth and assisted in any way possible.

Psalms 84 v10-11 "I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of wickedness. For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord will give grace and glory; No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly.’" 

To create a forum where the men of NLCCI can be encouraged to fulfil their potential as Christian Men in the Kingdom of God. To build strong relationships amongst the NLCCI men across all age groups, support one another, mentor young men and new believers, and be an example to others as we follow Christ and be willing servants in the Church.

The team is led by Helen Mobbs and Alison Pickering who has been working with children since 2000 and was part of the Kidz Klub team in Brighton prior to moving to Wembley in 2004. The team is made up of volunteers with a real passion for children.

We believe that an understanding of the Christian Faith is helpful and important for children today.

At Kidz Klub we have tried to put together an exciting dynamic programme which gives kids both great enjoyment and also presents the Christian message in a way that is relevant to them and their culture today. A rapidly growing number of churches are adopting this style of children’s programme – with amazing success!

Helps & Hospitality is a vital ministry in NLCCI, whether it’s a cup of tea on Sunday afternoon or a breakfast for over 100 leaders in Brent, and plays a strategic role within the church.

Our aim is to facilitate the church in events such as:

• NLCCI Annual Convention,
• Christmas Celebrations,
• New Year’s Eve Celebration
• Brent Pastor’s Breakfasts,
• Ladies' Events,
• Men’s Events,
• After Sunday Service fellowship – Teas and coffees
• Social Events and
• Other functions.

The Evangelism ministry is called GEM, God’s Evangelistic Ministry of reconciliation at NLCCI (2 Corinthians 5:17–20).

A gem is a precious stone,  something of great beauty and excellence – like our Jesus! and this is what we believe GEM is.

The evangelism team consists of a core of enthusiastic people who regularly reach out to needy people in the community through 1-2-1 evangelism and monthly group street evangelism, nursing home visits,  and more.

We seek to inspire, motivate and mobilise the Church at NLCCI to reach out in love to a needy world with the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ.  As the Head of the Evangelism department I would like to see individuals empowered and teams mobilised  to participate in reclaiming the territory that God has given to us – Brent, Britain and Beyond – through proclaiming the Gospel to the hearts and lives for all men.
