Denise Tettey – Head of Children’s Ministry
I have always had a passion for the children’s ministry. For me it comes with the great responsibility of bringing that excitement, interest and understanding to the children.
My vision is not just to teach the children about the bible but to connect their hearts to God. New Life Christian Centre International is a house of prayer therefore we will make disciples by teaching the children how to pray, for them to :
- build a personal relationship with God
- know the word of God and
- for Christ to be their firm foundation.

Sonia Young – Head of Discipleship Ministry
My name is Sonia Young, and I have been a member of New Life Christian Centre International (NLCCI) for almost three decades. I have held various roles and responsibilities in our church over the years, and since 2019 I have led our Discipleship ministry.
Jesus spent three years training His followers, and as the well-known pastor and evangelist A.W. Tozer put it, “Only a disciple can make a disciple”. It’s Jesus’ game plan that disciples create disciples who, in turn, create more disciples. So, if you are wondering how you can progress as a disciple, then join us at NLCCI where you can learn the Spiritual practices and disciplines demonstrated by the Lord Jesus and His disciples.

Abbey Adunsi – Head of Helps & Hospitality
I am Abbey member of new life for more than 20 years!!
I am head of a discipleship group and Helps and Hospitality team.
I love encouraging others in their walk with the Lord and seeing them grow. (Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faithful. Galatians 6:10)
I have a heart for children and God has been faith in allowing me to work with them and support them and their families in my community. This work has allowed me to sow seeds of the Kingdom into these little ones. (Come, you children, listen to me: I will teach you the fear of the LORD. Psalm 34:11)
My second love is cooking (I do love my family too!). One desire I have is that I will teach cooking classes in the church so watch out!

Helen Mobbs – Head of Kidz Klub
Acts 2:21 states, "And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." This scripture has been a guiding light in my life since I joined New Life Christian Centre International (NLICC) in 2006. It was during a conference that a friend invited me to where I found myself captivated by the Pastor's words, which seemed to speak directly to my own struggles. Leaving the service that day, I felt a sense of joy and hope that replaced the darkness and despair I had been feeling.
NLCCI is more than just a church to me; it is a family. Initially serving in the Usher's ministry, my passion for children and the local community led me to join the Sunday School team and the Kidz Klub ministry. Serving in the children's ministry is a calling that I hold dear, as I believe that children are the future, and it is crucial for them to know the love of Jesus. Witnessing the transformation of young minds as they begin to memorise Bible verses and seek God brings me immense fulfilment.
I am a secondary school teacher by profession and find great joy in cooking and spending time with my family. I am married to Sean, with three children and two grandchildren.

Catherine Ofori-Atta - Head of Women's Ministry
New Life has been my home since 1999 when I "met" the Lord during a Sunday service I was invited to. Once I joined the church, I couldn't wait to help in the Sunday school due to my love for children and feed on the word of God at Bible School. My desire to tell the world about Jesus led me to serve in the Evangelism Ministry where I was able to do just that and sing praises on the streets of Brent and in the nursing homes we visited - what a treat!. I later headed up the Evangelism Ministry for a few years and am now blessed with the honour of leading Women of Destiny, the Women's Ministry at New Life Christian Centre International.
I volunteer as a UK STEM Ambassador, Career development Coach & Mentor and a School Governor where I can share my knowledge, expertise and experience to help others realise theirs.
